| Description :
Wiouwash State Recreation Trail
(last updated Jan 14, 2008)
The trail is an estimated 22 miles long in this section. It’s a wide gravel path in the summer and groomed snow in the winter.
The state website does not show where this trail goes other than a couple outdated, strait lines connecting towns. My goal is to use this map and my gps to gradually create a real map of where it goes. There are two sections because the entire trail is not yet complete and there are around 30 miles between the north and south parts.
Snowmobiles are allowed on some parts of the trail depending on snow conditions.
Until the new version of WikiWalki is up, the most recent GPS created file is at http://discovermachine.com/maps/485 It's not the entire trail, but is being created as I walk it. When I have the majority of the trail mapped, I'll replace my estimate of the trail with the gpx file from my GPS to WikiWalki.
